She holds a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of North Carolina at Asheville, with a focus on psychology, sociology, and health and wellness. As a first-generation college student, research fellow, and community-engaged scholar, she authored three articles in the Journal of Undergraduate Research. Currently pursuing a Master’s in Public Health at UNC Chapel Hill’s Gillings School of Public Health, she’s engaged in data analysis within the non-profit sector and is establishing her own initiative, The African American Health Initiative. Chasity contributes her expertise to organizations like The Racial Justice Coalition and continues her work as a registered nurse, specializing in clinical trials.

As an artist, my work reflects the diverse experiences, struggles, and triumphs of the Black community, woven together with the limitless possibilities of the future.
